Lanzarote Airport is one of the Canary Islands found far south of the Spanish mainland, and is on the island located the furthest north-east of all seven Canaries. Alternatively, customers can choose the usual car category from Hertz, and drive the Chevrolet Spark, Toyota Yaris, Opel Astra or Toyota Auris Hybrid. There are also estate vehicles for hire which are ideal for families, similar to the Renault Megane Sport Tourer, and larger vans for groups of travelers. The Kia Carnival seats up to seven passengers, and the Opel Vivaro is ideal for nine.

All items such as these come with a small additional cost per day of hire, but may be essential for comfortable, safe and easy travelling on the island. Vehicles from Hertz may also be arranged as a one way hire, by customers who are not returning home via Lanzarote Airport, but perhaps by ferry, from Arrecife.
